Anyone can do a search online for holidays to Florida, but in the springtime it is the students who are searching for a sunny and warm location for spring break.  Daytona Beach attracts packs of students each year at this time and they choose this location for its nightlife and beaches.  There are some areas of this beach where cars can drive onto the sand and coolers of beer can be unloaded.

Although this city has been attempting to shed its party images in the last few years, it remains one of the many domestic locations that is a favorite for students.  There are many cheap chain hotels and restaurants here and many package deals that anyone can take advantage of in the springtime.

The Daytona International Speedway is a famous activity here that also draws sightseers but if the smell of gasoline is not your thing, there is the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse that is found on the southern tip of this beach.   For off-the-beach things to do, just a short drive from the airport is the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Many visitors claim this is an outstanding museum in this racing/tourist mecca.
